Terms of Use
Effective date: October 17, 2026
1. About Clearset and these terms
Clearset is the public name of a fitness and nutrition app operated by an individual based in California. These Terms of Use govern your access to the Clearset mobile app and related website. By creating an account or using Clearset, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Clearset. Age is self-reported; Clearset does not currently verify identity or date of birth. Do not create an account or use the service if you are under 18. You are responsible for information you provide, keeping your login details secure, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Fitness and nutrition are not medical care
Clearset provides general workout, fitness, and nutrition information and tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. AI-generated food estimates and suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information before relying on it. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing exercise, nutrition, or weight-management activities, especially if you have a health condition, injury, take medication, are pregnant, or have questions about whether an activity is safe for you. Stop exercising and seek appropriate care if you experience concerning symptoms. You choose whether to follow any plan or suggestion and accept the ordinary risks of physical activity.
4. Your content and Clearset's service
You retain rights you have in information, photos, and other material you submit. You allow Clearset and the service providers it uses to host, process, transmit, and use that material only as reasonably needed to operate and secure the features you request, including generating plans, analyzing meals, maintaining your account, and providing support. This permission ends when the material is deleted from active systems, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy and copies held by service providers or backups. You confirm that you have the right to submit the material and that doing so does not violate another person's rights.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Clearset, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful material, or use the service to violate another person's rights or applicable law. Do not rely on Clearset for emergencies or use it as a clinical service. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or others, or to address a violation of these terms.
6. Subscriptions and app-store purchases
Some features may require a subscription. The price, renewal period, trial (if any), and other purchase terms are shown by Apple, Google, or the applicable storefront before purchase. Storefronts process payments and control their billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund procedures. Manage or cancel a subscription in the store account used to buy it. Deleting a Clearset account does not itself cancel a store subscription. Clearset does not receive your full payment-card details through the app. Subscription status may be processed through RevenueCat to provide access to paid features.
7. Service availability and intellectual property
Clearset, its software, and its content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you comply with these terms. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
8. Account deletion
You can request deletion in the app's Profile area. Deleting an account removes the account and associated records from Clearset's primary application database, subject to the exceptions and timing described in the Privacy Policy. It does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription, erase records held independently by those stores or service providers, or immediately remove backup copies.
9. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, Clearset is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, Clearset will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or loss of data, profits, or use, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the current version with its effective date. We will provide any additional notice or obtain any renewed acceptance required by law. California law governs these terms, without displacing non-waivable consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts located in California may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory venue or consumer-protection rights under applicable law.
